On the 6th of June, ⭕️KI Park e.V. had the pleasure of participating in the „MY WAY Tour 2024: AI meets SMEs“ event organized by Deloitte Private and The Pioneer. With sunny Berlin as gorgeous scenery☀️ and a pleasant boat cruise on the Spree🚢, the event had a perfect setting for productive networking and insightful talks about the future of AI in small and medium-sized businesses 🗣️
The program of the masterclass was very rich. Marc Karahan from ⭕️KI Park e.V. moderated the masterclass on how SMEs can not only identify AI use cases but also successfully implement AI solutions. The presentations by Maria Schamberger from the Deloitte AI Institute, David Weiner from Google Cloud, and Florian Schütz, PhD from ⭕️KI Park e.V. were enriched by a lively discussion emphasizing the necessity of collaboration within ecosystems and with partners to address the shortage of skilled labor 👨💻🤖 The masterclass concluded with a panel discussion featuring the politician Ronja Kemmer, Maria Schamberger and David Weiner, and was moderated by Florian Schütz, PhD. The panel focused on the opportunities AI presents for our society and the implications of the EU AI Act for Germany and Europe 📄🇪🇺
The mood that was conveyed to the participants could be described the following way: SMEs should approach AI implementation with an open, partnership-focused mindset, encouraging the culture of experimentation, agility, and visionary approach, where making mistakes is part of the process🕊️
