June brought one of the highlights of our year: the AI Park Summer Event 2026, which attracted nearly 400 participants. In this newsletter, you’ll find the photo gallery and video highlights from the Summer Event, as well as key insights from our Expert Group Meetups on Financial Services and Retail.

June is here – and we look forward to welcoming you to the KI Park Summer Event 2026 on 24 June! As well as the Summer Event, June will see further Expert Group meet-ups and events from our ecosystem focusing on AI in manufacturing, the financial sector, retail and many other areas.
At the same time, we can look back on an eventful May. The month brought many valuable exchanges within the ecosystem, practical discussions in our expert groups and a special accolade for the AI Park: the Innovation Partner of the Year Award from our member F5.

In May, we continued to accept entries for the AI Innovation Award and, together with the Lower Bavaria Forum, announced the launch of our fifth AI Park satellite in Lower Bavaria. The aim is to further advance the use of AI in public administration, industry and small and medium-sized enterprises. We also provided a preview of what promises to be an eventful May and June – with a packed calendar of events in the run-up to the AI Park Summer Event 2026.

April at KI Park is all about new initiatives and lively discussion. With numerous upcoming Expert Group Meetings and the launch of the „Ecosystem Smart Lower Bavaria“, our focus is firmly on the future. At the same time, we’re taking a look back at March – with the „AI for Defence & Security“ expert group meeting and the launch of the „Manufacturing“ expert group, both of which provided concrete insights into current applications and challenges relating to AI.

This March at KI Park, we’re looking back and looking ahead. Last month, the focus was on, amongst other things, the „AI in Financial Services“ Expert Group Meeting, the CROSS-KI kick-off at SOKA-BAU and our enhanced collaboration with MODAL – all of which provided clear impetus for the implementation of AI in regulated and industrial contexts. At the same time, we are looking ahead to upcoming events, expert groups and new opportunities for collaboration within the ecosystem.

In this issue, the Members’ Exchange and the Public Newsletter have been merged – featuring content that is otherwise reserved exclusively for members. At the same time, KI Park maintained an international presence, including at the G7 Ministerial Week in Montréal and the AI Media Leaders Conference in Hamburg. This is complemented by the latest calls for collaboration and new funding opportunities – with concrete approaches to further advance projects within the network.

December at KI Park is all about putting ideas into practice and introducing new formats for discussion. With the successful launch of the „Retail & AI“ Expert Group and the event Retail powered by AI Practical use cases across the entire retail value chain came to light. At the same time, the first Innovation Circles from the „AI Strategy & Management“ Expert Group were launched, in which specific real-world challenges are being addressed. This is complemented by new content such as the Tech Talk on Industrial AI, which is now also available on demand – as well as numerous other announced Expert Group meetings and formats within the network.

With the announcement of Retail Powered by AI: from Use Case to Business Case With the launch of the „Retail & AI“ Expert Group, new priorities have been set. At the same time, the AI Park’s fourth anniversary and the addition of its 250th member, Rosenxt Group, mark important milestones. Numerous events and Expert Group meetings demonstrate that the network is continuing to develop and creating new opportunities for exchange and collaboration.

KI Park is now three years old - with 203 members active across Europe. We have opened our new satellite location in Lingen, gathered over 130 experts at the Generative AI Exchange at Celonis HQ in Munich - jointly organised with NVIDIA and Make - and continue to drive our Expert Groups forward, including with projects on ESG and digital trust. With new team members and upcoming events, the year continues to move forward.

KI Park reached an important milestone in the middle of the year: our biggest summer event to date with over 400 guests, 50+ speakers from member companies and four parallel event spaces in Berlin.
We welcomed NVIDIA as a new member of the ecosystem, presented the study on Next Gen Compliance together with BDI and WTS and welcomed top representatives to the CEOs for Berlin format. With new faces in the team and on the Executive Board, we are starting the second half of the year stronger than ever.
