Artificial intelligence meets practice: Impulses and innovations from the KI Park Lingen

📍 Campus Lingen - Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences
🗓 08.10.2025 | 15:30 - 19:00 hrs

Experience AI application examples live

After the successful start of the KI Park Satellites Lingen The innovation journey continues in March 2025. This event will once again create an exclusive platform for managers, decision-makers and innovators who not only want to understand the potential of artificial intelligence, but also experience it in concrete AI applications.

The focus is on practical use cases - from economic analysis and intelligent automation to modern image processing in production and logistics. The programme will be complemented by an inspiring example from the SME sector, pitches from young start-ups and an exchange with leading minds from business, research and politics.

AI in SMEs: solutions with added value

German SMEs in particular benefit from innovative AI approaches. The event will show ARC Intelligence and ECOVIS KSOhow CFOs can use AI-based FP&A to DATEVconnect have less administrative work, make better decisions and accelerate growth - with actual and target figures in real time.

AI in industry: efficiency and automation

Artificial intelligence is also becoming the key to competitiveness in industry. Practical examples of AI applications show how production and logistics can be optimised:

  • Image processing and 3D analysis for pick & place and contour picking

  • Predictive maintenance with sensor and laboratory data

  • Integration into ERP and CRM systems

AI solutions for companies - start-up pitches

Three young companies present innovative AI use cases:

  1. Business analysis with AI
The platform analyses complex ERP and sales data in real time and answers questions such as "How much margin do we make with product X at customer Y?" immediately. The no-code approach lowers barriers to entry, while AI-based visualisations promote precise decisions - quickly, securely and in compliance with GDPR.

  2. Automated order processing
A pre-trained AI automatically converts unstructured information (PDFs, emails, images, handwriting) into structured data - a "doc-to-order" process. The solution integrates into ERP, CRM or shop systems via API - without changing systems - and enables 24/7 order processing with higher process quality.

  3. AI-based image processing for production & logistics
A vision API platform provides state-of-the-art 2D/3D detection for pick & place, contour picking, calibration and inline inspection, including IR thermography. Hardware-independent and scalable in cloud, edge or hybrid architectures. The result: Machine Vision as a Service - robust, flexible and economical.
