As part of the KI Park Moonshot Initiative "Trust and Disrupt", KI Park organised its own Digital Trust Challenge in May 2023 in collaboration with five of the founding members of KI Park. KI Park was looking for innovators who want to restore society's trust in the digital world by fighting fake news, bots and trolls on the internet.

AI Month mAI 2024
01.05.24 | Following its successful participation in 2023, KI Park.e.V. is looking forward to taking part in KI Month mAI again in 2024. Last year, the first "German AI Month mAI" took place from 1 to 31 May 2023. The event was launched by AI for Humans GmbH, appliedAI Initiative GmbH, Bundesverband KI e.V., KI Park.e.V. and Merantix AG. During AI Month, the AI ecosystem organised conferences, festivals and network meetings on the topic of artificial intelligence in various regions of Germany, including northern, eastern, western and southern Germany.
The aim of the AI Month is to strengthen the national AI ecosystem, to network important players and make them accessible to each other as well as to companies and interested citizens. The KI.NRW competence platform is also involved in various events as an ecosystem partner.
The AI Month mAI programme is diverse and is aimed at both AI experts and the general public. The aim is to raise awareness of the immense importance of AI for the modernisation of industry and administration, to create trust in the technology and to arouse enthusiasm for the vision of "AI made in Germany".
As part of this inspiring month, various events and activities will take place to showcase the diversity and potential of the German AI landscape. KI Park.e.V. is pleased to once again be part of this important event and to help shape the future of AI in Germany. We are excited about the upcoming events and the opportunities to further our mission of promoting AI.

AI Month mAI 2023
Berlin, 09 January 2023 - The first "German AI Month mAI" will take place from 1 to 31 May 2023. The main players in the German AI ecosystem have joined forces across the country to draw attention to the vision of "AI made in Germany".

This annual award recognises the outstanding achievements and innovation potential of companies in the following industries: Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals, Energy Technology, Communications, Digital Content, Media and Entertainment, Hardware, Medical Technology, Software and FinTech.
The Technology Fast 50 Award is an important event in the world of technology and innovation. It recognises companies that excel in their respective industries through rapid and sustained growth. The award recognises not only financial performance, but also a company's ability to drive innovation and shape the market.

Award | Stage Two Award 2022 (by Stage Two)
22.10.22 | At the Stage Two Conference in Berlin on 22 October 2022, the most innovative AI startup in the field of sustainability was awarded. This was a significant moment for KI Park as we are actively involved in recognising and promoting groundbreaking AI initiatives in Germany and beyond.
The winning AI start-up not only received recognition for its outstanding work, but also prize money of 10,000 euros and membership in the AI Park. This shows how we value and support innovation and creativity in the AI community.
The impact of the award on KI Park has been extremely positive. We welcomed one new member to our community and generated 11 new leads, which has expanded our networking and collaboration opportunities. We also gained five new VC contacts, enabling us to more effectively channel the funding needs of our member startups.
The Stage Two conference also gave us the opportunity to make valuable connections with universities and transfer offices, especially RWTH Aachen University. These connections are very important to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration between academic research and the AI industry.
The winner of this award, Genvision, is an outstanding example of the creativity and utility of AI in the field of sustainability. Their approach of combining satellite data, climate research and digital twins to model the CO2 savings of forest areas is groundbreaking and shows the enormous potential of AI in environmental protection.
The AI Park will continue to actively promote the development of AI initiatives and technologies that make a positive contribution to environmental protection.
