Led by the team of KI Park e.V. and Vitesco Technologies, in collaboration with the teams of ML6 | Your partner in AI in Germany and the Netherlands, the first votes for the development of an ML-supported enterprise search solution were held this week.

The aim of this project, which focuses on Natural Language Processing (NLP), is to develop a company-wide search solution that promotes knowledge transfer and avoids the repetition of errors. The designed solution should enable employees to search for documented solutions across departments and countries in order to react quickly to existing problems. An essential aspect of the project is to effectively deal with the challenges arising from the very different content represented, the varying quality of the input data and the domain-specific technical or engineering product data.

The idea for this ambitious project emerged during Vitesco's onboarding workshop at KI Park. The Vitesco team and the AI Park team found common ground in ML6 for a potential collaboration to solve a challenging and innovative ML problem that has business-relevant implications. All parties involved are looking forward to an exciting international collaboration that has the potential to develop innovative solutions to help solve enterprise-wide challenges. The collaboration promises to bridge different teams and countries, efficiently leveraging expertise and resources to develop an ML-based system that can significantly improve knowledge transfer within the company.
